Improving readability of the Pet News page

The whole UI of the website is really appealing and beautiful but i realized that the "pet news" section appears to have the text on a transparent card element and the hover animation realigns itself on hovering.

Solution:
I propose to change the card a little such that:
i) The background of the card while still translucent will appear on a darker semi-transparent background.
ii) The hover card animation would be similar as in enlarging the card element without we aligning of the text which takes away from the user experience.

I am skilled in CSS, Tailwind and Bootstrap therefore i believe i am fit for this issue.
