Provide a background for the blog section

The white colour of the blog layouts are a bit camouflaging with the white background.

I'd like to provide a gradient or solid colour or image as the background for the blog section of the website.

This screenshot shows that a dark colour as the page background, related to the website theme would elevate the website UI.
