Currently, clicking the "Adopt" button on our pet adoption website does not initiate any adoption process. This results in a confusing and frustrating experience for users who are interested in adopting a pet.

**Describe the solution you'd like**
I would like to implement a streamlined "Adopt Pet" process when users click the "Adopt" button. The solution should include:

- Initiating a clear and guided adoption flow that prompts users to confirm their intention to adopt.
- Integrating user authentication or registration steps if required before proceeding with the adoption process.
- Providing immediate feedback to users upon initiating the adoption request, informing them about the next steps and requirements.
- Ensuring transparency by outlining the complete adoption process, including visitation, paperwork, payments, and post-adoption support options.

**Describe alternatives you've considered**
Alternatively, we could:
- Implement a temporary placeholder message or modal explaining that the adoption feature is currently under development.
- Temporarily redirect users to a dedicated adoption information page with contact details until the full adoption process is implemented.

**Additional context**
The current lack of functionality for the "Adopt" button diminishes user trust and engagement. Implementing a functional adoption process will not only enhance user experience but also increase the likelihood of successful pet adoptions through our platform.
