can it use index.md ?

Hi,

I'd like the plugin to create index files with the name "index.md" - instead of "index_of_folder.md"

This would help navigating into folders and viewing content of the folder before clicking into it.
It's also nice to have a summary of a folder.

eg:
[[week29]] would map to [[week29/index.md]]

Any chance you could enable this?

Bonus points for adding a toggle to set indexes to be included with "!" in the index file, so that previews of files show up.
