Autoplay pauses and Autoplay timer resets upon window resize

Hey everyone. I'm not sure if this is intended, but the autoplay timer resets whenever window gets resized.
If it is intended, is there a way to make it so autoplay timer keeps going/not reset even though window gets resized?

Below is the code: If you resize the window, autoplay pauses and resets autoplay timer to 0. Once you stop resizing the window, autoplay resumes and timer starts from 0.
