Slider Jumps Back To First Slide After State Change

I'm having an issue with slide when selecting a div inside the slider.

The divs have an onClick function which changes the state of the current selected div with useState hook. This causes the slider to jump back to the first slide. Is there any way to fix this behavior?

Note: It does do the selection.
