image flicker when loading carousel on iphone

So I'm having an issue when a carousel page is visited on iPhone, it works perfectly on pc, in which there's a momentary flicker because image position 1 is loaded first then quickly reverts to image position 0, even though `initialSlide: 0`. How do I resolve this?

My code is as follows:
