Description

Pointer / legacy container for the v1.0.0 vision.

The primary tracking artifact for the PLATE v1.0.0 Roadmap is now the dedicated Release issue #654.

This issue (#627) was the original stub that captured the full vision statement and readiness checklist. The detailed content has been moved to #654 per Q&A refinement (2026-06-17).

Quick links

  • Primary: #654 (Release/Roadmap with full criteria and planned sub-Epic structure)
  • Original vision discussion and all child stubs remain linked from here historically.

Status: Now a short pointer. See #654 for current vision and readiness tracking.

Research direction

This issue is a legacy pointer rather than an implementation task. Start with release issue #654, which now contains the PLATE v1.0.0 vision, readiness criteria, and planned sub-Epic structure; completion for this issue is represented by the current tracking there.
