Description
Being able to launch an instance I can SSH into from the console is really nice as a quick way to get a dev box with a lot more horsepower than my laptop. Currently the console supports Debian 11 (the oldoldstable release). It would be nice if the console supported Debain 13, particularly as there is not a supported way to upgrade a container from 11 to 13 (see Debian bug 1008202).

Research direction
Start by locating the debian-ssh image definition and the console code that presents Debian images for launch. Check how the current Debian 11 image is built and selected, then verify that a Debian 13 instance can launch and accept SSH connections from the console.
