I would like users to be able to access the library/directory of items without me having to approve their device first, or at all.

**Describe alternatives you've considered**
ShareX is superior to the other available apps. The only other way I've gotten this functionality to work is to run an open `HTTP` server using **samba** on a Raspberry Pi.
