File that is recognized as "CSV" in mac (that is clearly a csv file with csv extension) is recognized as ASCII text in Debian. Tried reinstalling libmagic-dev didn't help.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the report on Debian 10 using the cat etc/*-releases environment details and a CSV file with a .csv extension. Compare python-magic's result with the macOS result and determine whether the discrepancy comes from the wrapper or the underlying libmagic installation; done requires an explained and corrected classification or a documented limitation.
