Description

  • face_recognition version:1.2.3
  • Python version:3.6.6
  • Operating System: windows 10, PyCharm, Docker image
Description

I'm trying to deploy face_recognition app into docker container, The docker image is being created successfully but its size is big somehow (about 5-7 GB). Is this normal ?
What do I need to do ? how to deploy the docker image to a cloud ?

What I Did

I tried to create new droplet on digitalocean then to upload the created docker image but it failed to complete the uploading. "I've tried to re-upload several times with the same failing result".
Any suggestion for what to do next step after creating docker image ? what if I want to test my app locally first?

Thanks in advance :)

Research direction

No repository file, test, or entry point is named. Begin with the Docker image build and the DigitalOcean droplet/upload steps described here; completion would require a reproducible path for local testing and cloud deployment, plus an explanation of the reported 5–7 GB image size.
