Description
I have updated two of my devices to iOS 17.1.1, which includes a new Safari version (17.1) and now rotating the phone screen with screen lock off results in distorted visuals, in both my game and the ones tested on the off A-Frame website. Firefox on the same phones seems to work correctly.
- A-Frame Version: 1.5.0 and 1.4.x tested, maybe more
- Platform / Device: Safari 17.1 iOS 1.7.1, iPhone SE
- Reproducible Code Snippet or URL: https://aframe.io/aframe/examples/showcase/dynamic-lights/

Research direction
Start by reproducing the rotation issue on the linked dynamic-lights example with Safari 17.1 on an iPhone SE, then compare the same rotation in Firefox and the listed A-Frame versions. Done means rotating with screen lock off no longer produces distorted visuals in the affected Safari setup.
