Description

Hello,

I've developped an app with Mindar and some transparent video with HEVC, everything is fine with IOS 15 but those Apples Fuckers decided to release IOS 16 and it's broken, the background of the videos is not transparent anymore and is black.

I don't think many of you have a solution yet but I open this thread see if someone has the same issue or workaround.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the transparent HEVC video behavior on iOS 15 and iOS 16 using the MindAR setup described in the issue. Check whether the failure is in A-Frame or the platform's video handling; done means identifying a confirmed workaround or documenting that the issue requires an upstream iOS fix.
