Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in the linked hello world scene on Safari for iOS, rotating the device to landscape and comparing the viewport with the attached screenshot. Review the two linked Stack Overflow reports for possible causes and determine which A-Frame page or layout behavior is responsible. Done means the white bar no longer appears after rotation without breaking other scenes.
