Description

The wakelock appears to be broken on iOS, so for WebXR AR sessions where you don't periodically touch the screen, they will eventually dim the screen then go into locked mode.

  • A-Frame Version: master (pre-1.1,0)
  • Platform / Device: iOS 13.5.1, iPhone X
  • Reproducible Code Snippet or URL: any examples

Research direction

The report provides no source file, test, or entry point. Reproduce the issue using any WebXR AR example on iOS 13.5.1 with an iPhone X, then trace the wakelock behavior and add coverage showing that an inactive AR session does not dim or lock the screen.
