Description

Description:

I noticed a quality difference between Firefox and Chrome, which is particularly visible with text examples, but does not happen on all monitors.

I have 2 monitors, a 15'' laptop monitor and a 22'' desktop monitor, some more details on the capture below:
screens

When I open the AFRAME text example on my laptop monitor, all texts look more "blurry" in Firefox compared to Chrome.
However, I cannot see any difference between the 2 browsers when I open the same example on my 22'' desktop monitor.

Does anyone have an idea where this might originate from?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the text example at https://aframe.io/aframe/examples/test/text/ in Firefox and Chrome on both the 15-inch laptop and 22-inch desktop monitors. Compare the rendering conditions and browser behavior to identify a reproducible cause; done means documenting the cause and a concrete path to resolve the quality difference.
