Description

A-frame examples do not render in Chrome, because the examples are loaded through an iframe. Chrome does not allow child frames to receive focus for retrieving device information through the WebVR APIs. However, you can explicitly give focus to a child frame (ie. iframe.focus()) to get focus and start rendering the scene.

The Chrome team discusses their reasoning here (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=817454).

Research direction

Reproduce the issue at the linked helloworld example in Chrome and inspect how the examples are loaded through an iframe. Verify the reported focus behavior against the WebVR API restriction; done means the A-Frame scene renders in Chrome when opened through the iframe.
