Description

Description:

Support for play()/pause() (docs) were added recently (0.6.0?) but no longer seem to be working.

Tried:

  1. Just registering a system.
  2. Registering system, registering component, and using the component in the scene.

Research direction

Start by running the reproducible CodePen example linked in the issue and verify whether the registered system's play() and pause() lifecycle events fire. Trace the system registration and component usage shown there, then confirm that both events are called for the supported A-Frame 0.7.0 behavior.
