Description

Report preparation
  • I used the AI-assisted bug report tool (Help → Support → File an Issue)

What happened?

Opening second panadapter produce loud pop sound in the speakers for about 1 second.
Adding another slice to panadapter produce loud pop sound in the speakers for about 1 second.

I typically have 2 pan's open but tested with pandapter addition or slice - reproducible every time.
This is not just in latest ver 26.8.2, observed in previous versions as well.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue on Windows 11 with AetherSDR 26.8.2 and the 8600 firmware, opening a second panadapter and then adding a slice to each panadapter. Trace the audio behavior at those panadapter and slice entry points; done means neither action produces the reported one-second pop.
