What happened?

If the FFT auto is engaged and highlighted, frequently changing profiles, all with FFT auto on, results in the noise floor not being auto adjusted, even though the control is highlighted. You have to disable and reenable to get it to function.

Additionally, the averaging time should be much higher, short term noise on the band should not cause the auto noise floor to vary so quickly. You could increase the averaging or make it adjustable.

What did you expect?

When on, FFT auto should always work when changing global profiles.

Steps to reproduce

Make sure FFT auto is on. Change profiles. Watch the noise floor. Sooner or later it will not auto adjust.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with FFT auto enabled while repeatedly changing global profiles, then trace the profile-change and FFT noise-floor handling in the desktop application. Verify that FFT auto continues adjusting without toggling it, and clarify or test the requested longer or adjustable averaging behavior separately.
