(PieFed) Home feed showing random communities instead of subscribed ones

**Describe the bug**
Expected to see only posts from subscribed communities, but when I visit https://vger.app/posts/piefed.social/home , I see random communities and the top 2 posts are not in the sort order I selected (new).

It used to work previously, I only notice the issue today.
Version 2.39.0 via vger.app, same behaviour on iOS.
