Description
On app load after update to Android v2.24.2, settings tab has a red dot for no reason.
**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Open app
2. See error
**Expected behavior**
A notification dot should only bring attention to important state or info in the relevant tab.
**Screenshots**

- OS: Android 14
- Version 22.2.4
**Additional context**
I see a mention of this issue in the merged #1845, and I did have this issue on the previous update as well.
