Description
The Solaris/x64 machines we have are running quite a lot of processes when you look at the `svcs -a` output. We should look at which of these can be shut down so we can free up resources and reduce the chance of security problems with any of them.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the Ansible configuration for the Solaris/x64 machines and collect the current `svcs -a` output. Determine which services are required, document the candidates for shutdown, and validate that the remaining machine functionality is unaffected. The issue does not name files, tests, specific services, or acceptance criteria, so the scope needs clarification before implementation.
