Have button to stop search

There may be times the user does not want to continue searching, but still wants to see the existing results.

Start by locating the search UI and the code that updates existing results while a search is running. Confirm how an in-progress search can be stopped without removing results. Done means the user can activate a stop button, searching ends, and results already shown remain visible.
