Description

In EW layout view there's no way to view or edit page metadata — Title, Description, Theme, Template (also Image/Robots). Block and section content is editable, but there's no panel/affordance to reach page-level properties, so authors can't set them from the canvas.

These fields are defined in the DA doc view via metadata block: title, description, image, robots, plus theme/template. None surface in EW.

Repro: open any page in layout view, e.g. da.live/canvas?ref=main#/aemdemos/patients-stryker/us/en/zip-skin-closure — there's no page-properties/metadata UI.

Research direction

Start by opening the EW layout view at the da.live/canvas URL and compare it with the DA doc view's metadata block. Trace where page-level properties are exposed in the canvas, then add an accessible way to view and edit title, description, image, robots, theme, and template; done means authors can change each field from layout view.
