Add more D3 charts

### Expected Behaviour
The library should be armed with a lot of charts so that it can become more consumable.

### Actual Behaviour
The library just have three charts now - bubble, bar, and pie

Start with the contributing guidance linked in the issue and inspect how the existing bubble, bar, and pie charts are implemented. Before coding, identify which additional D3 chart types are required and how the current charts are exposed; done means the agreed charts are added and documented consistently with the existing library.
