Drag and Drop is not working for Carousel V1 Component

Bug Report

Current Behavior
Drag and Drop functionality is not working on Adobe’s OOTB Carousel V1 component. Previously Drag and Drop functionality was working on Carousel V1 component but now once 1st Image is dragged and hovered over Carousel V1 component the image is getting uploaded but then for the 2nd Image drag and drop is not working. Please find the attached screenshot's and video for reference.

Expected behavior/code
Expected behavior is that the Drag and Drop functionality should work. Once image is dragged and hovered over the image section, the component should able to pick and upload the image.

Environment

• AEM version : AEM Version 6.5
• JRE version : Java 11

Start by reproducing the failure in the Adobe OOTB Carousel V1 component on AEM 6.5 with Java 11, following the attached screenshots and video: upload one image by drag and drop, then try a second image in another image tab. Trace the Carousel V1 authoring entry points and drag-and-drop handling; done means each image tab accepts and uploads a dragged asset consistently.
