Error: VNC Connection Failed (Cannot connection to RealVNC Server)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempting to Connect to RealVNC Server(User) Behind a Router with Port
Forwarding set for default port of 5900 to the designated computer.
2.This has been attempted using both URL and IP address.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is an exstablished connection between phone application and
RealVNC application on desktop computer. Insted I'm getting the error message
of "Error: VNC Connection Failed!"

What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
0.4.7

Which VNC server/version are you using? On which platform?
VNC Server Free Edition 4.1.2, Windows XP Pro Version 2002 SP3

What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,
1920x1080...)? 1680x1050

What device are you using?
Motorola Droid A855

Are you using a custom ROM? If so, which?
No, no custom rom, but it is an early leaked version of Froyo 2.2, not the
offical release.

Please provide any additional information below.
Though the Froyo 2.2 version that I have on my phone is not the offical release
I've had it for months, and VNC viewer has worked just fine on it untill the
last recent update or the last two weeks I don't remember exactly when it
stopped working because I haven't needed an urgent use for it untill the last
fewdays.
