Unable to login to windows server

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to server
2. Send CTRL + ALT + DEL
3. Enter password

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

For some reason just keeps saying incorrect username or password even
though I can fire up my laptop and login with the same credentials. As I
can't see the characters vnc is sending I can't actually tell what the
problem is.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Windows Server 2008
