Descripción
It would be cool to generate plates with the combined ALPS & MX compatible cutouts. It's an overlay of the 14x14 & 12.8x15.5 mm squares for the basic shapes of each, but also allows switch opening in-situ. I believe swillkb has it, but ai03 does not.
I would be happy to add it, I couldn't find the source for these cutouts.
In a similar vein, adding an equivalent snap notch for ALPS style switches would be rather helpful. It could be nice to have these auto-switch between MX, ALPS, and MX/ALPS notches based on the active cutout, but that's a nice-to-have.
On a separte note (I can create a separate issue as well), adding pcb footprints that allow the board to be used in both directions, like for a split keyboard, woulc be helpful. Basically mirroring the holes across Y so that the same pcb can be used for the left & right sides of a split. There is supposedly a flag within Ergogen for this?
I can also work to add these, but I'm not sure where the footprints are for these files.
