Description
Hi everyone
I want to measure the frequency of a square signal (Beaglebone). Is it possible to do this using the adafruit library (400 kHz)? I tried using PRU but didn't get the accuracy (https://github.com/SuperEjik/frequency-measurement-with-PRU-BeagleBone-CYCLE-register-/blob/main/cycle.pru0.c).

Research direction
Review the Adafruit library's BeagleBone signal-input entry points and compare them with the referenced cycle.pru0.c PRU experiment. Determine whether the library can measure a 400 kHz square wave with the required accuracy; done means a confirmed supported approach or a clearly documented limitation.
