Description

I own an Adafruit AMG8833 sensor breakout board. It works fine with an Arduino, but I am trying to run the test program that prints out all the values in the array on a UNIHIKER board. I installed the libraries. I get a message indicating that " PlatformDetect 3.77.0 was unable to identify the board and/or microcontroller running the Linux platform." I do have the latest version of PlatformDetect as I ran the pip command.

Is this board supported or will be in the future? Thanks!
Joe

Research direction

Start by reproducing the AMG8833 test program on the DFRobot UNIHIKER and inspect the PlatformDetect 3.77.0 message. Check the library's existing board-support assumptions and determine whether UNIHIKER support can be confirmed or what compatibility work is required; done means a clear support status or a defined change request.
