Description
the L and R pin designations on the schematic are wrong. The code matches the board layout, but the schematic has pin 2 got through R4 to the left LED, it should be pin 2 through R4 to the right LED. The opposite problem for the other LED. The resistors and the chip pins are consistently labeled, just the L+ and R+ on the schematic are backwards.
I'm pretty sure it makes no difference which pin goes where, it's just inconsistent.

Research direction
Open the repository's schematic and trace the connections from chip pin 2 through R4 to the two LEDs, checking the L+ and R+ designations against the board layout. Update the schematic so those designations match the existing wiring, then verify that the resistor and chip-pin labels remain consistent.
