### Supporting Information
The 1st Conference on Hakka Humanities and Technology (HHT 2026) is a new interdisciplinary academic venue focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and language technologies to Hakka and other low-resource languages.
The conference aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary research and collaboration across natural language processing, speech and language technology, artificial intelligence, digital humanities, education, and Hakka studies. In particular, HHT 2026 emphasizes research on low-resource language technologies and their applications to language preservation, learning, cultural communication, and digital archiving.
Relevant topics include Hakka language technologies, low-resource NLP, corpus construction, large language models (LLMs), automatic speech recognition (ASR), text-to-speech synthesis (TTS), Mandarin–Hakka and Hakka–Mandarin machine translation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG and GraphRAG), generative AI, AI-assisted language learning, digital cultural archives, information visualization, AI ethics, and data licensing.
Through peer-reviewed research contributions and interdisciplinary exchange, HHT 2026 seeks to advance computational approaches to Hakka and other low-resource languages while promoting sustainable development and innovative applications of language technology.
