Currently the Angular projects depend on @swimlane/ngx-datatable which is quite stale and doesn't support Angular 21
Describe the solution you'd like
The Siemens corporation, which is very reputable, has a ngx-datatable fork that is actively maintained and supports Angular 21, will also likely support future Angular versions, which is very promising.
Their fork repo at https://github.com/siemens/ngx-datatable holds the same MIT license, so there are no open-source licensing concerns at all.
Migration should be straightforward.

Research direction
Start by locating the Angular projects that depend on @swimlane/ngx-datatable and review how the package is imported and configured. Compare the existing integration with @siemens/ngx-datatable and verify it against Angular 21. Done means the Angular projects build and their datatable usage continues to work with the replacement dependency.
