Description

## Short Description

Sometimes I get very large scancode result files (in JSON) where it would be a lot easier to split into more logical components. A feature that would allow me import a result file and then write multiple result files (each with a subset of the results) could be useful.

As an example, say I have a file that has scanned files in directories:

```
a/
b/
c/
```

and that all of the results are in a single result file but that I would want to split the data in three different result files.
