説明
Local arial imagery https://github.com/a-b-street/speedwalk/issues/12 is important to quickly map pedestrian infrastructure.
But whenever street level imagery is preset, that is also super handy.
Its hart do build a great Mapillary integration like iD has. But even some integration helps a lot.
For TILDA we have…
https://tilda-geo.de/regionen/radinfra?map=18.3/52.62034/13.31378&config=1v92rco.7h38.chhq8&v=2&f=21|1032238661374836|13.313563|52.62051
- a way to show where images are with some static filters
- a way to look at one image quickly using the iframe integration that mapillary offers
- different links to open Mapillary for a current feature or view port to look for images in the Mapillary UI
The main part that this is lacking is, that the map and iframe are out of sync, so changes in the iframe do not reflect on the map. Another thing that we did not build is a "show images for what I am looking at", which the API should allow in theory.
Suggestion for Speedwalk:
1. Add an overlay of the vector tile data from mapillary, using the "color by age" method.
- Either show pano vs. regular images differently (smaller/larger dot) or have two checkboxes for each
2. Provide a deep link to open the Mapillary UI for the current view port
Those two steps are relatively easy; every thing else is also nice, but always a bit more work…
