Road name text becomes too small to be useful, and becomes an unhelpful distraction, at low zoom levels

I've just been playing with the tool based on this link: http://play.abstreet.org/0.3.33/abstreet.html?--ungap&system/us/seattle/maps/central_seattle.bin

Quick observations:

- The new style looks really good
- The text of road names looking really good, I know of no other map where they adjust so responsively
- But, when zoomed out beyond e.g. a viewing window 1km wide (a scale bar is another question/issue) the tiny text is unhelpful, that's the basis of this issue

The road names are not getting in the way at low zoom level, they just look messy. They could distract and confuse people, especially beginners.
