Description

Open Settings and navigate to Login Items, observe that Xcodes shows up without an app icon and the name of the app is "Matt Kiazyk" instead of Xcodes. This sort of sketched me out so I had disabled it until I remembered who and what a nice guy Matt is ;)

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in macOS Settings > Login Items and inspect how Xcodes registers itself and identifies its bundle metadata. The fix is complete when Xcodes appears with its app icon and the name “Xcodes” instead of the developer name, and the Login Items entry no longer looks suspicious.
