Description
For the “Current location” field, users can enter any value, for example “Polandtest”. I think it would make sense to be stricter here and allow users to select only from a predefined list of countries, especially if this information may be used later for filtering by country.

Research direction
Start by locating the WordPress.org profile implementation for the “Current location” field and inspect how its submitted value is validated. Done means users can select only from a predefined country list and arbitrary values such as “Polandtest” are rejected; no specific file or test is named in the issue.
