Description

Moving here Matt's comment guiding us on changing the profiles page design/features to look more like GitHub profile page. If the team finds helpful, we could explore providing the data with an API for the Contributor Dashboard.

  • I believe the main feature might be the Contribution Daily Graph (heatmap) & Activity Overview, being able to select a date for additional activity
  • Maybe also add the sponsorship options and allow people to at least add a link to receive sponsorship?
  • Team badges / achievements — Right now, people are very appreciative of the current WP.org badges and it is probably the only thing working well for the current page in terms of gamification, so I believe we should keep it somehow?
  • The whole design should feel more modern, so maybe also having a strong focus on just improving the design itself
