Description

Blueprints retrieve resources in parallel but execute steps sequentially. Let's either:

  • Invent a neat API developers could use to explicitly parallelize specific steps
  • Auto-parallelize the operations that do not conflict with each other (in compileBlueprint)

Research direction

Start by reading the Blueprints issue and locating compileBlueprint, the entry point named in this report. Compare the existing parallel resource retrieval with sequential step execution. Done means either a documented API for explicitly parallelizing selected steps or automatic parallelization of non-conflicting operations, with tests covering the chosen behavior.
