Description
As reported in https://meta.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/8146 by @amitdholiya
Here’s a user-friendly suggestion you can use for that screen:
🔹 Top placeholder text (inside the editor area)
Use something clear and instructional, like:
“Enter your pattern name here…”
or
“Start by naming your pattern…”This helps users immediately understand what they should do first.

Research direction
Start at the pattern editor screen and compare its current layout with the screenshot and the linked Meta ticket. Add an instructional name placeholder and increase the top spacing; done means both changes are visible and the editor remains usable.
