Description
In the Group Management Topics lesson (Meetup Organizer Training), under the "Special Offer Emails" section, the example scenario uses a business name that places "WordPress" in the brand position at the front of the name:
Example Scenario: Jane Apple contacted Cindy who is the meetup organizer of Cool City, USA. Jane Apple is a sales rep for a Business Name Cool City WordPress Security. Jane wants to offer the group a free trial as a way to get the word out about their service.
This works against the point the lesson is teaching. Part of the lesson is about vetting whether a sender meets the WordCamp sponsor bar, including how they use the WordPress trademark. Leading a business name with "WordPress" is exactly the usage that fails that check, so using it in the teaching example sends a mixed message.
Suggested fix: rephrase so "WordPress" is used descriptively rather than leading the name, for example "Business Name Cool City Security for WordPress." That matches the WordPress trademark guidance the lesson points organizers toward (WordPress Foundation Trademark Policy).
Step-by-step reproduction instructions
- Sign in and go to https://learn.wordpress.org/lesson/group-management-topics/ (part of the Meetup Organizer Training).
- Find the "Special Offer Emails" section ("As an organizer, can I send special offer emails to members, through the meetup system, from a business or another member?").
- See the Example Scenario. The business name leads with "WordPress" instead of using it descriptively.

Open the Group Management Topics lesson and locate the Special Offer Emails section and its Example Scenario. Update the business name so WordPress is used descriptively rather than at the start, following the linked WordPress Foundation Trademark Policy. Verify the revised wording on the lesson page.
