What are you reporting?
I'm trying to follow the intermediate course but it is so difficult:
Firstly the course material is out of date. I'm a beginner I followed the beginner course and the four page business starter course using the embedded WP playgrounds so I didn't really notice that the material was out of date. I've finally taken the leap and installed my new WP v7.0 Twenty-TwentyFive themed site and its clear that the course material is out of date. In the videos the tutor is clicking on menu options that are not available in my version; templates and blocks are not organized the same in the course as they are in the latest version. The course shows templates organized by Theme and Custom templates in my installation its either All Templates or Theme Templates - both the same as far as I can tell. If the template names match to the ones shown in the course then their construction is different ie the new Theme makes more use of Template Patterns and when you click on these it seems you cannot edit the blocks as shown in the course video; you don't see the same design options in the right-hand design sidebar as in the course video. So this gives rise to a whole load of confusion - am I in the right place? why can't I...? and a new construct (Pattern Templates) with no explanation as to what they are, how they work or how to work with them.
Secondly; I've tried many times to follow the exercises with the embedded playground and here it gets worse because more often than not the playground is version 5.9 and when I click on Appearance > Editor the editor is in Beta. It doesn't matter though because clicking on anything further always results in an awww.. snap! screen/image.

So following along with the course and more importantly learning something you can apply in the real world from this course is nigh-on impossible. WordPress appears to be an "evergreen" style application where users are encouraged to upgrade to the latest version for many good reasons. But, unless users are ignoring that encouragement, most users; new and experienced would want and need to learn the latest features and UI of WP. Experienced users are unlikely to want the old/previous version because by definition they have the experience from using older versions however they might want to learn "what's new" before trying to apply it to their own sites. New users are going to need to learn the new stuff because more likely than not they're going to install a new latest version of WP which the current courses simply don't prepare them for.
