Define badge-hunter filter measure

This issue was discussed in the Office Hours session on May 23, 2026.

Define a team-internal filter measure that reduces the time the Training Team loses to badge hunters, without depending on the Make Team.

Tasks

• Collect concrete measures the Training Team can implement on its own
• Pick the first measure to implement (for example a mandatory workshop or a small pre-task)
• Communicate the measure to the whole team with responsibilities and timeline
• Schedule a review of the measure in one year

Context

Badge hunters take up noticeable team time because they sign up for roles without the basics and disappear after receiving the badge. A pragmatic team-internal filter avoids losing time both to the hunters themselves and to endless discussions about the badge system at the global level.
