Description

With the updated scaffold script(s) and since WP 6.7/6.8 the register block type process has changed and makes the content in week 6 of the 'Developing your first block' cohort course out of date and impossible for a beginner to follow without additional direction in the course.

Research direction

Review week 6 of the “Developing your first block” cohort course alongside the linked WordPress 6.7 and 6.8 registration API announcements. Identify the outdated scaffold and block-registration instructions, then update the course so a beginner can follow the current process from start to finish.
