Description
Tried to launch this on my PS2, but it just boots to a black screen.
I tried v1.2.1 (works), v1.3.0 (fails) and v1.4.0 (also fails).
I used the data from the v1.4.0 zip along with the different ELFs.
My setup:
- Console version: SCPH-30004 R (PAL)
- wLaunchElf version: v4.70_R32
- wLaunchElf is stored on an HDD, PS2ME was loaded from a USB drive (under
usb://)
I can't reproduce the issues on PCSX2, so this one might be some tricky detail.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the black screen on the stated SCPH-30004 R (PAL) setup using the v1.2.1, v1.3.0, and v1.4.0 data and ELFs. Compare behavior on real hardware with PCSX2, then trace the change between the working and failing versions. Done means the affected release launches on the reported hardware without regressing the known working case.
