Description

It would be interesting, particularly for languages like AssemblyScript if Binaryen offered WGSL as a compile target. It would open the Web up a lot more as a compute target for AI and other potential industries. I'm curious if anyone is interested in this. 👀

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by surveying Binaryen's existing compiler-target architecture and WGSL support requirements; done would mean an agreed implementation scope for compiling to WGSL, followed by the necessary compiler changes and validation.
